"Extra" Home Sweet Home

Nairobi: familiar places, faces, smells, dust, traffic, mango juice, doggies, sun. I love it.
Had a horrible trip here and did not sleep much, so now I am very tired. On the plane I sat beside a girl from the Comores, who had never been in continental Africa. When we flew over Nairobi she said "but, it is a CITY". Yes, indeed. Today I have been going around in a taxi most of the day, trying to organise things (visa for Sudan). Traffic is hectic, luckily I was too tired to even be scared.

I have spent the afternoon at Java House, the best place to get food in Nairobi. They also have wireless, so I have done some work! Now I plan to buy some dinner with me back to Anne-Marie (my host family).

Maybe Juba on Friday if all goes well (not Thursday since I will not get the visa in time).
