Ezo part 3
Sunrise at the compound we were staying at (which will also be our office if we start implementing activities in Ezo)
I made a visit to the camp for Internally Displaced Persons in Ezo. According to some estimated there are 25,000 IDPs in Ezo, scattered around the city. Some in unorganised camps, others squeezed in among the ordinary population. They live under poor conditions and are largely unassisted - not much food, NFIs or access to health care etc.
internflyktingar som flytt undan LRA / IDPs who have fled LRA

My colleagues distributing items to extremely vulnerable individuals. They received mats to sleep on, blankets, mosquito nets, clothes, shoes, towels, sheet etc.
Ezo part 2
Widows I spoke to in the camp. The woman on the right fled to Ezo just a few days ago, from violence in DRC. Her husband was killed by LRA.
Many people fetch water from stream which run around the camp.
Tvätta kläder i samma bäck som människor hämtar dricksvatten
Picture taken from Central African Republic - the building in the back are Ezo market. Very close to the border!
Slappar i CAR / Relaxing in the sunset in CAR
The car full of items we distributed to extremely vulnerable individuals in the camp

Another LRA affected family - the woman on the left lost her husband - and was separated from one of her children when she fled the LRA in Congo.
Hit kommer människorna från en del av lägret för att sova på nätterna. De vågar inte sova i sina hyddor, utan kommer hit där de sover i tält, tätt tillsammans mitt inne i bushen
